This book…this series! Jen Lyon sets the bar so high and delivers. There were passages that were tough to read (cw: physical abuse), passages that made me think, passages that made me swoon. I loved that both characters have clearly identifiable voices. Loved their chemistry and their steadfastness. Could have done without some of the slang and soccer play-by-plays but I get it. I loved the beautiful friendships of the women and their exes and the camaraderie of the team. This series has it all…very satisfying.

Short summary: the series comes to an epic conclusion - how will the women manage their relationship across Alex’s career, and the legal hurdles plaguing Catherine’s life?
