This book was really heteronormative. There were too many stereotypes and not enough of the obstacles you’d expect for this couple. The HEA wasn’t believable to me, but the exploration of gender was interesting.

Short Summary: Katie is a straight, successful lawyer recently dumped by her fiancé, leaving her dazed and confused. Cassidy is a confident, lesbian lawyer with a great group of friends. The two end up on opposite sides of case, start spending time together outside of work, and form an unlikely friendship that quickly turns into more.
