The best part of this book is that it takes place in Europe, and makes you feel like you’re on vacation. The story occurs during Covid, which is interesting but inconsistent – they start out wearing masks but precautions are quickly forgotten. The characters are likeable but there’s almost no conflict.
Short Summary: After the loss of her girlfriend and job, Lisa moves to Paradise Hotel to regroup. Stella is the poolside manager who immediately notices and falls for the beautiful, sad, new guest. Stella gets Lisa out of her funk, and as she works to turn her life around, the two fall for each other.
