This entertaining book from Jae is a charming office romance that handles the employee/boss quandary delicately. Both MCs are interesting in their own right and grow over the course of the novel. I loved how the story unfolded and the characters with it. There’s an interesting take on family dynamics and sexism as well.

Short Summary: Austen finishes her first day as a secretary, in the ER with the icy 2nd in command, Dee, of her new company. The attraction is immediate but when they learn who the other is, they must navigate office and personal dynamics.
