I really enjoyed this romance. 4.5 stars rounded up for being solid all the way around- great characters, great romance, great chemistry, the right amount of angst, interesting topic I didn’t know anything about! It’s a lovely story with well-rounded, endearing MC’s just trying to do their best. The perfect sports romance. Now excuse me while I go watch some fencing!

Short summary: Jess is a firecracker elite fencer whose competitive spirit drove her to the Olympics so she could ask out the woman she had a crush on at 13yo. When she finds her again, Lauren is leading their old fencing gym and as it turns out, Jess needs a coach in the lead up to the Olympics…nothing messy about that.
