This is my first experience with fated mates which is like instalove + destiny and could come off as cheesy but Brooke does a great job with chemistry, steam 🥵 and humor - I loved the play on words between the MC’s. This book made me laugh. The ending was a bit abrupt but sexy. This rom-com is an easy read but packs a political punch that any feminist will enjoy.

Short summary: Brigid doesn’t want to get pregnant- even in service to her coven- and she hates that the men they sleep with won’t remember them the next day. Except they are remembering. Magic is returning to men. A fateful sexual encounter with Matthew makes this especially apparent. Brigid needs him to prove her theory, only problem is Matthew hates witches…
