This book was cute and kept me hooked. I liked the premise of a matchmaker in a fake relationship to save her reputation. But, it was a bit too syrupy for me and the timeline wasn’t always clear- some things moved too fast and others slow. I liked the characters, but I wanted a little bit more of their backstories to fully understand their motivations. Overall, entertaining but not my favorite. BUT, there are so many wonderful books by JJ Arias- her latest just get better and better.
Short summary: Libby’s a matchmaker with a problem- her fiancé dumped her a year ago but she didn’t tell anyone. Now he’s engaged and she needs an explanation. Enter her new fake fiancée Reagan. Imagine Libby’s surprise when she starts feeling attracted to Reagan- but what’s real and what’s for show, and what happens when her family and clients find out she duped them?
