Two of my favorite things: second chance & spin on The Bachelor… needless to say, I loved it. Emily is a great character and I loved Jake’s steadfastness. At first, his POV wasn’t my favorite but he grew on me. I also struggled a bit with the secret she ultimately reveals - it takes so long for us to find out that it felt slightly contrived for drama - I wish the reader had been in on it sooner and we could have explored the topic more because it’s a big, meaty one. But that aside, the chemistry was so powerful between them that the third act made me cry, and I loved the ending. I also loved Sam and can’t wait to read her story.

Short summary: For 7 years, Emily has rued the day Jake abandoned her - no longer. When her mom nominates her to lead The Love Match, Emily is wary but accepts, and when she finds out Jake is a producer, well…that’s the perfect chance for revenge. Or is it?
