The author said this book took her a while to write because she didn’t want to part with these characters and I can definitely see why! I loved Veronica’s journey and the way she let Ally’s light in. Ally is a beautiful soul and I liked how confident she was, and funny. The thing that kept this from 5 stars for me was the end felt longer than it needed to be and I would have liked to see a little growth or something a bit more from Ally. The book was very low angst but that’s offset by the horrible cheater who brought them together. If cheating is triggering, definitely skip this one but I thought the author handled the whole thing really well, including Veronica’s journey with her sexuality. Also the chemistry is sizzling!

Short summary: when Veronica finds out her husband is cheating on her, she sets out to find all the women he’s with..and there are a lot. What she doesn’t expect is to have feelings for one of them, that only grow as the women spend time together pursuing justice. But will the way they met prove to strange or the age gap too big…
