I’m not sure whether to recommend this or not. I really liked the beginning – the first few chapters start with a flashback that fleshes out a steamy one-night stand and builds the characters. But from there, it devolved for me. The biggest issue I had was that it takes place around 2020, but it really felt like it should have been set in 1950. The dialogue and characters didn’t totally hold up for me, and the sex felt gratuitous towards the end. It breaks the 4th wall a bit which is fun, and if you’re hot for teach, this is a good one.

Short Summary: Sam and Magdalene have a chance encounter that rocks both their worlds. They meet again 3 months later unexpectedly at the remote boarding school where Sam teaches, and both must decide how to proceed, especially when threats start to roll in.
