I’m such a sucker for Monica's books, and this one is in the top 3. I like the way she handles one of the MC’s sexuality in this one and her issues with her family. But the best part is the class dynamics, which I was not expecting and which played out in interesting ways on the page. I love this couple and the little town. I hope we get a follow up book in Lake Cabot!

Short Summary: Olivia’s living the good, relaxed life working at her family’s paddleboard shop in the town she grew up in where everyone knows and loves her. Val’s life is the opposite, she may as well have #goals tattooed on her forehead. A chance meeting sparks a summer romance, but will it stay that way?
