What a great fake/real love story! I adored Gemma- so steadfast and witty- her character will stay with me. Tansy too, fiercely loyal and sweet. I enjoyed the banter, the friends, the fake dating turned on its head. The only thing I didn’t love was the climax- I’ll leave it at that so as not to give anything away. But on the whole, I really enjoyed the chemistry, romance and characters and had a hard time putting it down. Definitely recommend.

Short summary: Tansy’s had a fake girlfriend for months to avoid family get-togethers. The last thing she expects is to actually meet her fake girlfriend and for her to need a fake wife! But Tansy has her own history with Gemma’s awful, scheming family, and as the lines blur between farce and reality, the women must navigate the present and the past before it’s too late.
