Are all Lee Winter's books this tantalizing? Talk about a slow burn. And maybe the best ice queen. This book is as good as everyone says! I loved the main characters and side characters. The dialogue was sharp and funny. I will say, the summary led me down a different path than I expected, but the story is so engaging I didn’t mind (I thought the truth bet would be more of a focal point). I wanted to bask in these characters and wish the HEA went on to a sequel...guess I’ll have to check out the Awkward Truth. What’s your favorite book by Winter?

Short Summary: When journalist Maddie’s newspaper is taken over by media mogul Elena, the two form an unlikely sort of friendship. They follow work to Australia and the two spend more time together. When they embark on a truth bet, everything changes- for better or worse?- you’ll have to read to find out.
