A fun rom-com with some serious undertones, I enjoyed this read. The pro’s first- the communication between the MC’s was excellent, their chemistry was firey, and I totally believed the slow-burn romance. I also thought Madison's backstory was handled really well and her neurodiversity. All the side characters were fun and feisty, especially Hathor, the cat. The cons- a lot was repetitive, and some of the themes got preachy after a while. On the whole, though, I breezed through this one, and will be happy to keep reading books from G Benson.

Short summary: When A-list celebrity Wren gets into an accident, the last person she expects to see as her hot doctor is her camp crush whom she humiliated 25 years ago. Riding a wave of delirium, Wren recommends Madison to be the medical advisor on set. They’re thrown together in classic enemies-to-lovers fashion, but with a dash of grief thrown in and a lot of humor.
