I’m a better person having read this book. Wow. Yes there’s a ton of privilege and she owns it. It’s not an escape, a lot of her life was a diamond-studded shit show, which she not only survived but somehow thrived. There are so many poignant revelations and pearls of thought. My favorite is that she puts the onus on abusers’ and consumers’ shoulders where it rightfully belongs. She’s a feminist in a fresh way. And, the prologue is the best “show don’t tell” of ADHD I’ve ever read. The book is chock full of her unique brand of experiences and jumps back and forth through time but always along the threads of ADHD, trauma, music and love - which makes everything make sense. Buckle up, this is a crazy, worthwhile ride.

Short summary: Paris takes us through her life in an open and vulnerable way that will challenge all your assumptions about the OG Influencer.
