This is a great second chance, grumpy/sunshine, reality TV romance. I really liked both characters, their personalities, their journeys, and the writing. There was a small, random undercurrent of possessiveness that felt amiss, and I wanted a little bit more about the other couples on the show, but those are small details. I was definitely rooting for the couple and felt their chemistry and pain. Queer rep: One of the 3 couples on the show is gay.
