Tears rolling down my cheeks. This book is so good! And so efficient. At times it almost feels rushed but I think that might be the point. Love is frenzied in its easy stages. Then it slows down and brings you in to the emotion. Then tears- sad and happy. It’s beautifully done. Also a bit of satire- romance poking fun at romance. Very clever with some poignant moments thrown in. Loved it.
Short summary: When romance writer’s good-for-nothing husband leaves her, she writes a screenplay about it that leads to her meeting world-famous actor Leo. They fall into a comfortable rhythm while shooting a few scenes on her property (where can I get a tea house?!!), and the rest should be history. But this is not a movie and so it doesn’t work out the way you expect. Or does it?
