I wanted to like this more than I did. The first half was great. Really detailed and a great concept, but the second half lost me. I wasn’t clear on a sense of time- sometimes it seemed like weeks had passed but it had only been 2 days or vice versa. Didn’t seem like enough time for the relationship to develop as fast as it did. And the end was too quick. Just wanted more from this one overall because the characters were intriguing.

Great line: “Everything’s an adventure until the laws of society break down and then it’s a survival story.”

Short summary: Reese hasn’t left her house in nearly a year and that’s more than fine by her. When she’s forced to leave at the prospect of a lucrative job offer, the last thing she expects is to feel so attracted to the boss.
