The MC in this Castleton book was different from the first three in a great way. Sasha is cynical and snarky and not into small town life. Just the shake up we needed after the first three sweet as pie books. And Jax…Jax is all fire. I think this book would have really benefited from dual POV. I wanted so much more from Jax. I also wasn’t sure why Jax was so into Sasha, who seemed kind of immature, especially in the second half. Loved Luna and Lizzie though- great additions to Castleton and fun to see what the rest of the gang was up to. On the whole, I wanted more from this one and thought the end was too abrupt and didn’t tie up enough of the plot threads, but the steamy scenes were very sexy and it was a fun read.

Short summary: Sasha is moving to Castleton short term to help her sister and niece. In no time, she’ll be back in Boston with her best friend where she belongs. Until she meets Jax. Sexy, smooth, intelligent, wealthy Jax inserts herself in Sasha’s life until Sasha has no choice but to face her feelings, but can they overcome their differences?
