There are three books in this series, and though this one was my least favorite, I still enjoyed it. I didn't feel it offered the depth of the other two. This is a fun Broadway story about two actresses competing for a queer lead role. One isn't out yet while the other is - this shows both sides of their journey. I thought Sophie was a bit immature, so that slowed it down for me but otherwise it was fun to peek behind the scenes.

Short summary: Jules meets the alluring Sophie at a casting call for the lead role in a queer show. They hit it off and the last thing Jules expects is to be competing with this charismatic, beautiful woman who's a seasoned actress. Can they put their egos aside? Can Sophie handle Jules' secret? Lots of drama behind the scenes off Broadway.
