This series is fire. I know some people don’t like it but I couldn’t put it down. I thought I could see the ending coming - was definitely, happily, wrong. I’m amazed at the skill Yarros wields over the enormous cast and the twists and turns that just keep coming. As with book 1, I wished there were a map and still found the wings hard to follow- but it didn’t detract from the story. I also thought some things were gratuitous or superfluous but none of it matters in the end because it’s so entertaining and creative. Excited for book 3!
