This is such a sweet friends to lovers story about two third-year college students. It’s very new adult with some themes that feel YA in a coming of age way. There were parts that got repetitive and Kate could be so frustrating! But that’s natural for what her character was going through. Allison is the best; such a delightful kind character. Good level of steam..one of the hottest first kisses I’ve read. Was definitely rooting for these two and loved the peek into costume design.

Short summary: All Allison wants is a girlfriend before she graduates, and all Kate wants is to stay single. The perfect dynamic for best friends. Until they realize their best friend is kind of perfect and also pretty sexy. But what if being together ruins the friendship? Is there a middle point for their opposite goals?
