This book should be called For the Joy of Running. It has inspired me to go for a run and that’s saying a lot. It’s a beautiful love story between two very different people who at their core are both kind, determined, and just want to be loved. It’s described as enemies to lovers, but I think it’s more like grudge-to-lovers because Lizzie is never mean. It’s a sports and roommate romance. They have good communication mostly and the tension makes sense. Another good one from Ylva Publishing.

Short summary: Shan’s dream to compete at the Olympics is shattered when she collides with a woman in a koala suit (Lizzie) at a fun run. When Lizzie invites Shan to stay with her in her first floor apartment during recovery, Shan is uncertain she can live with the woman who shattered her dreams. But Lizzie is as kind as they come and Shan can’t hold her grudge for long.
