I liked this even better than Home Field Advantage- and I gave that one 5 stars! The author excels at YA voiciness. I loved the vulnerability of both characters in this book. How natural the internal conflict felt. How it was a bit of a twist on the coming out trope. I didn’t realize it was a play on Grease til halfway through but that was fun too. Nice to see great moms! The only thing I didn’t like was that the book wasn’t longer. Any senior questioning their sexuality should read this story.

Short summary: when Larissa returns to school the last thing she expects is for her long unrequited crush to be interested in her..and for her summer fling to be there too.
