I loved this book! Just what I needed to feel good at the end of a long week. There were a couple loose ends and I wish the book were longer, but there was also more nuance than I expected and discussion of heavier topics in a way that enhanced the story without dragging. There wasn’t much tension but it worked. It was refreshing to read a book where the characters worked through their issues and communicated clearly after some initial confusion. Overall, it was a very enjoyable read with great chemistry and I’m looking forward to reading more by Stephanie Shea.
