There are so many good women-loving-women Hollywood stories, but this one is exceptional. Lee Winter brings two very different characters to light, and explores the unique challenges each woman faces as they navigate fame and a secret fake relationship.
Summary: Elizabeth is a closeted A-list actress stuck in her role as a villain on a highly-rated TV series. She has a tight circle of friends, but few actually know the real her. Enter Summer, an exuberant, young actress with a minor role on Elizabeth’s show. A klutzy moment pushes the two together in a way that sparks romantic rumors. Elizabeth is horrified until it leads to a role she covets, which compels her to ask Summer to be her fake girlfriend in private while publicly maintaining her heterosexual façade. It may seem convoluted but Winter pulls it off and we are along for the ride!
