I don’t know much about BDSM so I don’t know how accurate the dominant/submissive dynamic was, but it was hot. I really like Vanessa’s character and wish we had her POV, she seemed complex and I wanted to know more. Mel was also interesting and I liked that we understood where she was coming from in wanting to be submissive. I know this wasn’t meant to be a textbook, but I wanted to know more about the BDSM dynamics and rules. Mel is a law student. How much does her relationship with Vanessa blend into her professional life? What happens if Mel isn’t available when Vanessa wants her to be? I wanted more! Which I guess is the sign of a good book. The story was good- plenty of substance behind the erotic romance.

Short summary: Mel is a law student, working around the clock to make ends meet and hit her deadlines. When she meets wealthy, alluring Vanessa and she offers her a way to take her mind off all her responsibilities, it seems too good to be true.
