Chemistry! These women have it. I was flipping those pages waiting and hoping for them to get together. I didn’t fully understand their work animosity - that felt contrived to make Lee meaner than she was, and I thought a lot could have been trimmed generally but the romance itself I really enjoyed. They had great communication and were able to be vulnerable with each other in a beautiful way.

Short summary: Nic can’t figure out why beautiful Lee is so rude to her at work, but she refuses to confront her and none of it matters when she’s laid off unceremoniously. Except she keeps running into Lee, who doesn’t seem to hate her at all…
