This book felt indulgent..it was a lot but somehow not enough. I mostly liked each MC on her own, but I didn’t understand their bond beyond being at low points together. Their relationship missed the mark for me. There wasn’t enough build up, not enough angst, and I struggled with the ending. I do think Kate’s challenges with IVF were handled delicately- that’s not an easy topic. And, three cheers for the moms in this book! It was also fun to see all the references to Faye and Ida, and Lana and Cleo. I would love to read an extra chapter or novella where all the couples in Bliss Verse get together for some reason. Overall though, this one missed the mark for me and it wasn’t because it was about cheating.

Short summary: Kate’s world has fallen apart. She can’t have a baby, her husband is absent and she’s stuck living with her mother-in-law and self-absorbed sister-in-law. Except Stella isn’t exactly who Kate thought. It turns out she’s talented, caring, and gorgeous. And now that Kate’s noticed her beauty, she can’t look away. But they’re sisters-in-law, she certainly can’t act on any feelings..or be having feelings. Right?
